Key Terms and Conditions

• Daily rental prices include: Full third party liability and Damage, Collision and Theft cover with a stated excess
• The excess can be reduced by buying Top Collision Damage Waiver (TCDW) or Super Collision Damage Waiver Cover (SCDW)
• Personal accident insurance can be bought as an extra
• 24 hour Roadside Assistance and Customer service helpline available
• Payment methods: Visa and Mastercard are accepted. 
• Credit and debit cards are accepted for the pre-payment and for the authorised deposit
• Cancellation is without penalty 48 hours before rental start time
• For cancellations made less than 48 hours before pick up, the pre-paid cost will be refunded less a €50 fee
• Non-refundable deposits may be requested for high season bookings
• A pre-authorisation amount will be held on the credit card during the term of the rental
• Cars to be returned with a full fuel tank
• Driving is only permitted in mainland Portugal and Spain (a surcharge applies for travel in to Spain)
• There is a 250km daily allowance, extra kilometres are chargeable
• Minimum rental age 25, maximum 75 years old.  Driving licence valid in Portugal
• Identification requirements: Passport or EU Identity card
• Delivery and collection of a vehicle from personal accommodation starts at €25 but can depend on the hour of the day and location
• Smoking is not permitted in the vehicles, a cleaning charge of up to €100 can be applied if this rule is broken
• Additional Drivers are charged at €8 per day
• GPS units and Baby / Booster seats are available for hire
• A Toll-identifier is provided free of charge. Any toll fees will be charged to your credit card plus a €5 admin charge
• Administration handling fee of €30 for any Parking fines, traffic violations etc.
• Insurance claims can incur a handling fee of up to €100 depending on speed of resolution
